Survival winter

Who hasn't dreamed of living in the wilderness like the trappers of Canada? It's a "survival" day, to learn how to survive winter, build a shelter, find water and filter it if necessary, learn good practices for making fires safely and lighting them in all conditions (without lighters or matches, of course 😉 ), find food in the wild, get to know the natural environment in which we evolve, with its flora and fauna, spot footprints... Children begin to discover the world for themselves. The forest and the mountains are wonderful adventure playgrounds for children to awaken and get to know themselves, gradually developing their self-confidence, learning autonomy within a group, growing up and approaching the world serenely.

A canyon accessible to all

Canyon
de la Semine

Get ready for a half-day of adventure in a unique setting! The Semine is a magnificent canyon far from the crowds. It's made up of a succession of giant pools formed by erosion, which take on a beautiful emerald-green hue in the sunlight, inviting you to take a dip. The pools are separated by waterfalls that can be crossed by jumps, slides or abseiling.
Fun and technically easy, this canyon is accessible to all and ideal for a family outing. The last waterfall, 13 metres high, is an exceptional jump for the most courageous. Return to the car via a pretty, shady hike. After the canyon, you can extend your day with a visit to the spectacular cirque d'Orvaz, where the Semine rises.

A family adventure

Adventure day
in the Valserine gorges

The day begins in Champfromier, a charming village overlooking the Valserine Gorge.
After equipping you with harness, helmet and lanyards, your instructor will lead you to the top of the Sous Roche cliff. The view over the gorge is superb.
A short via ferrata will then allow you to acclimatize to the void and reach the start of the big abseil, the highlight of the day! 60 meters, first along a slab of white limestone, then suspended in mid-air on a spider's thread! Time to collect your wits, and you'll reach the second abseil of the day, 30 metres along a superb waterfall to the bottom of the gorge. After a well-deserved rest, you'll head back up the gorge through a chaos of boulders, thanks to the via cordata installed by Valserine Outdoor, to the Pont du Dragon, where an easy path leads back to the car.
No abseiling is required, and you can turn back at any time. You can join the group on foot and continue the rest of the adventure together!

Long route climbing is a real adventure, both sporting and human, where team spirit within the roped party is essential.
One pitch, then two, then three, the gap is widening, but the reassuring presence of your instructor and the indoor training will enable you to manage!
You'll have a preparatory indoor course on the preceding Tuesday. You'll learn how to set up a belay, belay a second person and abseil.
